The World Wave Tour (WWT) today announced its revolutionary 2025 competition calendar, featuring five 5-Star events at the sport's most prestigious locations. The 5 Star tour kicks off in Matanzas, Chile (March 24-April 6), where perfect point break conditions consistently deliver epic wave riding opportunities. The action then moves to Gran Canaria, Spain (July 5-13), renowned for its massive aerial potential and high-intensity racing conditions. On to Tenerife, Spain (August 1-10) for a classic VUP experience in white beaches, blue skies and stuning action right in front of the Hotel Play Surf. The European leg of the tour culimates in the wild North Seas of Sylt Germany (September 26 - October 5).

The Aloha Classic Grand Final on Maui, Hawaii (October 13-24), where the world's elite riders will battle for the World Titles at the legendary Ho'okipa Beach Park. Each 5-Star event carries prize purses between USD $30,000 to USD $50,000, marking the largest guaranteed season payout in the modern era.

"This calendar represents windsurfing's evolution into a premier global sport," said [Tour Commissioner Simeon Glasson].
